• Schedule: Day and night coverage; 3x12-hour shifts
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Setting: Adult Med/Surg Telemetry with oncology focus
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 72 hours
• Float Requirement: Required to other Med/Surg Oncology units

Job Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience in the specialty
• Current experience in Med/Surg Tele or a closely related acute care setting required
• BLS certification required
• Telemetry interpretation and telemetry monitoring experience required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Ability to work rotating days and nights based on unit needs
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
• Previous travel RN experience preferred
• Oncology nursing experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for adults and geriatrics on a medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes
• Support patients with a variety of medical and oncology-related diagnoses
• Maintain a strong focus on infection prevention and fall prevention practices
• Administer medications and treatments according to plan of care and facility protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
• Float to other Med/Surg Oncology units as needed
• Document accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Deliver compassionate care to patients and families throughout treatment and recovery
