Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Float Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care across multiple locations within the region. This position involves floating between various emergency room facilities, ensuring efficient and effective nursing practices at each site.

Shift Length: 12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Years of Experience Required: 2 years

Certifications Required

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - preferred

Job Responsibilities

The Emergency Room Float RN will be responsible for:

Providing emergency care to patients in high-pressure situations, including trauma and medical emergencies.
Floating to various ER locations as needed, including facilities in Goodyear, Camelback, Mesa, Glendale, and Surprise. A primary location may be designated as a home base.
Participating in a clinical interview and manager review process prior to starting the position.
Passing a dysrhythmia exam and a pass/fail SIM lab on the first day of orientation, which includes Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.
Maintaining sterile techniques and best practices during all procedures.

Schedule

The schedule is designed in advance to notify the traveler of the location they will report to. This role requires:

Every other weekend commitment
Availability during holidays as needed
