Description:
Schedule is Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Includes one to two weeknight of call and every fourth weekend.
The position involves working in Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, TAVR, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure.
Job duties include verifying the integrity and expiration dates on all sterile supplies.
Prepare patients and equipment to utilize sterile technique.
After procedures, prepare equipment and supplies for sterilization.
Monitor and record all procedural data and maintain procedural event logs.
Provide patient comfort while familiarizing them with the equipment and supplies needed for the procedure.
Apply the necessary monitors and prepare access sites, including the necessary sterile drapes.
When scrubbing into a procedure, use sterile and aseptic techniques as required for infection prevention.
Advocate for radiation safety and protection for self and coworkers.
Wear personal radiation dosimeter and take necessary precautions to limit patient and staff exposure.
Document fluoroscopy time and radiation doses, evaluating reports to ensure values are within established safety limits.
