Job Description & Requirements

Required Certifications

• BLS – AHA or ARC
• ACLS – AHA or ARC
• PALS – AHA or ARC
• NIHSS – listed under certifications in the requirements section
• Active CA RN License (must be valid/in hand; recent Nursys verification required)

Required Experience

• 3 years of nursing experience stated in the main requirements
• Ambulatory Surgery / Endoscopy experience within the past 2 years
• EPIC experience
• Experience with conscious sedation – administering, monitoring, and recovery
• Endoscopy experience including EGD, ERCP, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy
• Scrub and circulate experience
• IV starts/maintenance and specimen handling

Other Requirements

• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience: Preferred
• Community hospital experience: Preferred
• Trauma Level I/II experience: Preferred
• Weekend: Every other weekend
