Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Endoscopy unit position requiring Epic experience and an active Illinois RN license.

Details

  • Work in the Endoscopy Unit of a regional hospital setting
  • Days shift, 4x8 schedule, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
  • On call required every third week and one night per week
  • On call required for one holiday
  • Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
  • May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active IL RN license required at time of consideration
  • IA single-state or compact RN license required (can pend to start)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy experience required
  • Hospital/medical center experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • BSN degree preferred
  • At least 1 completed travel contract preferred
  • Must not have been an employee of the health system within the last 12 months

Additional Information

  • Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team contributing clinical knowledge in patient care management
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility based on taxable address
  • One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required for consideration
  • Returning candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months will not be considered
