Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Registered Nurse with expertise in Ambulatory Operating Room settings. This position offers a local rate differential and does not require float, on-call, or weekend shifts. The nurse will work collaboratively with the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the Ambulatory Operating Room, focusing on lower extremity, spine, pelvis, and upper extremity procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively according to protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions post-procedure and provide necessary follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and utilize the Community Hospital charting system.
- Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Ambulatory Operating Room or similar setting.
- Experience preferred in procedures such as Colonoscopy and EGD.
- Valid state nursing license at the time of submission.
