Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - GI/Endoscopy for a long-term hospital assignment requiring a Georgia or Compact license and rotating call.

Details

  • Diagnostic and Treatment Center setting at a hospital
  • Endoscopy specialty unit
  • AM shift schedule with 4 x 10-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week
  • 30-minute meal break included in shift
  • Rotating call required, approximately 7 days within an 8-week period, including some weekend and Friday coverage

Requirements

  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
  • Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
  • RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not on or near a holiday, or 3 days if near a holiday
  • Only one holiday time-off request is permitted per assignment
  • Candidates may only be submitted to one open position at a time
