Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Endoscopy unit position requiring active IL RN licensure and 2 years of endoscopy experience.

Details

  • Regional Endoscopy Unit setting at a level 1 trauma center hospital
  • Day shift, 4x8 schedule, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
  • On call required every third week, one night per week, and one holiday
  • May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active IL RN license required at time of submission; IA single-state or compact license also required (can pend to start)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy experience required
  • Hospital/medical center experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • BSN degree preferred
  • At least 1 completed travel contract preferred
  • Must not have been employed by the facility's health system within the last 12 months
  • One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required for consideration
  • Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
  • Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility for travel rate eligibility
  • First-time travelers may be considered if they meet experience requirements
