Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Endoscopy position requiring 18 months of permanent GI/Endoscopy experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Endoscopy unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule (5x8 hours), approximately 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with some variation possible
• No weekend shifts required unless called in
• On-call responsibilities include 1-2 weekday call shifts per week after regular shift until 7:00 AM
• On-call responsibilities include 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6 weeks, covering 24-hour periods on Saturday and Sunday
• Must respond to call within one hour
• Potential call coverage required on Labor Day

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact state RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 18 months permanent Endoscopy experience required

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts allowed to achieve a passing score
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
