Endoscopy Technician

Schedule

This position requires a shift from 6:30 AM to 5 PM, working 10-hour days.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician with a strong background in GI lab procedures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a hospital or surgery center environment, and proficiency in performing various endoscopic procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in endoscopic procedures for patient care.
• Prepare and maintain the endoscopy lab and equipment.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Support the medical team by ensuring all necessary instruments are ready and operational.

Required Experience

• Prior experience in a GI lab or operating room is required.
• Experience working in a hospital or surgery center setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of endoscopy procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
