The Endoscopy Laboratory professional position is based in Long Beach, California. This role involves providing specialized care in a high-volume endoscopy and gastrointestinal (GI) laboratory setting. Job Details:

  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts with varied start times between 07:00 and 10:00, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Call is required, with a frequency of two required calls during weekdays per week and two weekend days per month.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum of 2 years of experience; licensing to submit; and at least a Nursing Registered Nurse (RN) degree.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certification in gastrointestinal procedures (GI) and GI experience are preferred.
  • Additional Information: The unit encompasses three procedure bays performing 15-30 procedures daily, including ERCP, esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), PEGs, and other scope procedures. The role may include visits to the operating room for GI procedures or bronchoscopies with respiratory therapy support. The facility offers a one-week orientation or until the candidate feels comfortable with duties.
