Job Summary
An Endoscopy Laboratory (ENDO LAB) professional is needed in a healthcare facility. This role involves assisting with gastrointestinal (GI) procedures, including endoscopies, colonoscopies, and flexible sigmoidoscopies, with a focus on patient assessment, moderate sedation, and intra-procedure monitoring. Experience in outpatient urology procedures is a plus, and candidates should be proficient in tele monitoring and moderate sedation administration.

Job Details

  • Certifications and Qualifications: BLS, ACLS; experience with moderate sedation administration for at least 2 years, and recent administration within the past 6 months; tele monitor proficiency; outpatient urology procedural experience is desirable but not required.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, four 10-hour shifts with start times between 6:30 and 7:30 am. Candidates assisting exclusively with GI procedures will have Wednesdays off.
  • Responsibilities: Pre-procedure patient assessment, intra-procedure moderate sedation and patient monitoring, post-procedure recovery, and assisting with GI and outpatient urology procedures.
  • Additional Job Notes: Willing to float to other facility locations if needed. Orientation includes general ambulatory training followed by preceptor-led floor training.
