Key Responsibilities
- Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the OR Endovascular setting
- Utilize the nursing/tech process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability for provision of care
- Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments, including float support to the cardiac cath lab for vascular cases as required
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information at all times
- Operate Siemens and GE imaging equipment within the Main OR environment, supporting patients ranging from outpatient to critical care, including trauma
- Fulfill call requirements averaging 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month as required by the facility
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Endovascular Rad Tech experience
- ARRT or RCIS licensure preferred; active and in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required seasonally (November 1 – April 1); declinations are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Surgical scrub experience in an OR or endovascular environment
- Experience working with a diverse patient population including outpatient, critical care, and trauma patients
