Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Emergency Room, Reedley, California. Provides coordinated nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and the nursing process. Supervises assigned nursing staff, coordinates interdisciplinary care, and applies critical thinking and independent judgment to promote safe, effective patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or American Red Cross (ARC) Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification; American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or American Red Cross (ARC) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); acute care facility experience.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing patient data, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating patient progress, coordinating care with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, providing health education, participating in discharge planning, and appropriately delegating duties to members of the healthcare team.
