Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Located within the healthcare organization. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients, promoting quality outcomes, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex clinical situations. The RN will serve as a patient and family advocate, ensuring individualized and age-specific care delivery.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: CA RN license; BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, CPI or comparable certification (must be an 8-hour class with at least half of the class in person); at least three years recent RN experience working in an RN role, including two years in a specialty area; BSN or ADN degree.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The RN will assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient responses to care. Responsibilities include patient and family education, interdisciplinary collaboration, delegation and assignment of care, and ensuring effective communication across healthcare teams. The role emphasizes patient advocacy, documentation, and adapting nursing interventions to meet diverse socio-cultural needs.
