Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Emergency Room The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides care for patients ranging from neonates to older adults in a fast-paced clinical setting. The assignment requires current clinical certifications, recent EPIC experience, and the ability to work scheduled holidays and rotating shifts.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience; New York license or proof of application with application date; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or proof of enrollment with course date; EPIC experience within the past 2 years.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN); Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC); Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN); Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS).
- Schedule: Evening shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Assignment length is 1626 weeks. Patient population ranges from neonate to geriatric. Holidays are required, including two of the following four holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day. Block schedules are not available. Orientations occur every other Monday.
