Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active MA RN license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

  • Emergency Department setting at a hospital serving an island community
  • 36 hours per week on rotating shifts
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Uses Epic for charting
  • Shared housing provided at no cost

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required upon start, no conditional or pending licenses accepted
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required upon start (AHA preferred)
  • Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start and upon expiration
  • Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license

Additional Information

  • Care for a year-round population of 15,000+ residents plus up to 100,000 seasonal visitors annually
  • Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
  • Local candidates with permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston may be considered at a reduced rate
  • Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
