The position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing hospital activities.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license; Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); current BLS certification; recent Epic experience (minimum 6-12 months within the past year); minimum of 2 years of clinical RN experience in the emergency department; open to floating within similar departments; willingness to work nights from 7PM to 7AM with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and coordinate individualized care plans, collaborate with the healthcare team, manage discharge planning, deliver patient and family education, act as charge nurse as needed, and participate in departmental goals and performance activities.
- Certifications: Current California RN license, ACLS, PALS, BLS, and successful completion of SVMH Pharmacology test required.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be licensed in California and meet all listed qualifications to be considered for this role.
- Additional Information: Experience in emergency nursing, teamwork, safety compliance, flexibility in hospital activities, and conflict resolution skills are highly desirable.
