Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Some pediatric emergency nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active New York RN license
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
• Skills checklist matching specialty
• Resume must include travel RN experience
• Valid driver's license with matching address documentation
• RTO must be provided at time of submission

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Administer and monitor critical medications and drips, including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, sedation, TNK, heparin, and insulin
• Work confidently with specialty equipment such as rapid infusers and Arctic Sun
• Support safe, efficient patient flow in a busy 64-bed Emergency Department
• Collaborate with the care team and assist with floating as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and contribute to a positive team environment
