Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse (ER) Springfield, MA. This position involves working in a large, high-acuity emergency care unit with 118 beds. The role requires managing a highly diverse patient population, including behavioral health, boarding, trauma, and critically ill or ICU-level patients. Nurses must be proficient in handling complex and unstable cases in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience post-orientation; valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; ability to demonstrate strong critical care skills and adaptability
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing a high-acuity, diverse patient population in a large emergency care setting is preferred
• Additional Information: Nurses must demonstrate strong critical care skills, adaptability, and comfort in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
