Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week, primarily nights with some possible day shifts; weekends are required, and no call is required.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience; experience with intravenous starts, Emergency Room care, medical/surgical patients, and skilled swing-bed patients; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
- Additional Information:
- Care may include intravenous starts and infusions, Foley catheter insertion and care, nasogastric tube insertion and care, feeding tube infusions and care, telemetry monitoring, and head-to-toe assessments.
- The assignment includes care for patients recovering from acute illness who may require rehabilitation or intravenous infusions before returning home.
- The unit may care for patients requiring overnight observation following outpatient surgical procedures.
- Clinicians will work alongside at least two registered nurses per shift.
- A one-week orientation is provided.
- Navy blue scrub tops and bottoms are required.
- The assignment is scheduled for a 20-week contract from 11/23/2026 through 04/12/2027.
