- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current RN license in Oregon; ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required; graduate of an accredited nursing school; no minimum years of experience required, but previous clinical experience preferred
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments upon arrival
- Prioritize patients based on injury severity
- Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and emergency treatments
- Monitor patient responses and vital signs continuously
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide rapid and effective care
- Document treatment and patient responses accurately
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses and follow-up
- Respond to emergency situations such as rapid response calls and code blue situations
- Follow all infection control protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Support the organizations mission, vision, and policies
- May be floated to other departments as qualified
