Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in an urban healthcare facility. The position involves assessing, planning, and delivering direct clinical care to patients in the emergency department on an evening shift schedule. The role requires supervision of staff and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evening shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, basic life support (BLS) certification, current registration in the state of practice, no minimum years of experience specified
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency nursing and familiarity with emergency department protocols
- Additional Information: The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support the facility Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care. The position covers for a temporary leave and requires working from 7:00 AM for onboarding purposes on the start date.
