- Setting: 64-bed Emergency Department with triage, acute care, trauma, CDU, and psych areas
- Floating: Yes
- Charge Opportunity: Highly preferred

- Scheduling Note: Block scheduling is not guaranteed
Job Requirements
- Active New York Registered Nurse license
- 2+ years of Emergency Department or ER nursing experience, including some pediatric experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
- TNCC must be in hand at the time of submission
- Experience using Epic EMR required
- Completed skills checklist that aligns with the specialty
- Driver’s license with an address matching demographics
- Strong ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
- Support rapid interventions and emergency treatment using specialized equipment such as rapid infusers and Arctic Sun
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Float as needed to support departmental patient care needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and efficient patient flow in Epic
- Promote a safe, organized, and compassionate environment for every patient encounter
