The position emphasizes clinical assessment, collaboration, and compliance with established protocols, with ongoing training on dysrhythmia recognition.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Licensed registered nurse with clinical experience in emergency care, Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the last twelve (12) months, and passing a Basic Dysrhythmia test out during orientation.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Job Responsibilities: Self-study of telemetry strips and dysrhythmia recognition, passing a test during orientation is mandatory to work in the emergency department. Travel nurses may be occasionally placed on call with response expected within one hour.
  • Unit Description: Shift includes every other weekend and every other holiday. The nurse may be required to respond to calls during low census periods.
