Job Details
- Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (ER) is responsible for delivering safe patient care utilizing the nursing process, within the scope of practice. Responsibilities include direct patient care, guiding patient and family teaching, and supervising other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ER. The RN communicates clinical changes to physicians, monitors hemodynamics, interprets diagnostic results, and responds quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition.
- Certifications: Current and valid state RN License, BLS, ACLS, and minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital or critical care. CCRN certification preferred.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Float rotation may be required between ICU and Telemetry units. The position requires COVID vaccination/boosters (preferred).
