Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Night shift. Located at the healthcare provider, this position involves providing high-quality emergency care within a critical care environment. The RN will be responsible for delivering safe patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient treatment while maintaining standards of care in the ER setting.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current and valid state RN License, BLS, ACLS, minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital or critical care setting, COVID vaccination/boosters (preferred).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification.
  • Responsibilities: Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process; provide direct patient care within scope of practice; guide patient/family teaching; communicate with physicians regarding patients clinical condition, hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic results, and symptomatology; respond rapidly to changes in patient status; maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Additional Information: Float between ICU and Telemetry units may be required. The candidate must be prepared to work in a fast-paced ER environment, demonstrating proficiency in strip interpretation, drip titration, and managing acute emergencies.
