Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 13-week assignment requiring an active MA RN license and multiple advanced certifications.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Room of a 298-bed teaching hospital
  • 12-hour afternoon/night shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
  • Every other weekend required, with holidays as needed
  • No on-call requirements
  • Compact license not accepted; active MA RN license required
  • Meditech Expanse EMR experience highly preferred

Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts RN license required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • 3+ years of current Emergency Room experience required (within the last 6 months)
  • Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required
  • Current Emergency Room skills checklist required (within 1 year)
  • Must have own vehicle for this assignment

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency care within a Level teaching hospital setting recognized for patient safety excellence
  • Must work two full holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through the following weekend
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
  • No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted, and all time-off requests must be submitted at the time of profile submission
  • Block scheduling and shift accommodation requests will not be considered
  • Includes 8 hours of non-billable orientation
