Job Details
- Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Acute care facility experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The nurse will collect and analyze relevant patient data, develop and implement care plans, evaluate outcomes, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care. The role includes participating in discharge planning and delegating duties within the healthcare team.
