Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) specialty position available in Eureka, California. This role involves providing acute emergency care to diverse patient populations, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on high-quality patient care and collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: California state license; ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications; 1 year of experience; ability to work with diverse patient populations.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Level 3 trauma facilities; Epic charting system proficiency; community hospital experience; trauma level II experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
- Additional Information: Travelers will cover Observation Unit - ER Hold patients. Must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required. Submission should include SSN, DOB, and RTO details.
