Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse Nights The healthcare provider is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night shift in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency department. The RN will deliver comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population, including neonates to geriatrics, across various diagnoses, including complex cases.

Job Details

  • Position: ER RN Nights, 36 hours per week, 3x12-hour night shifts (1900-0730), starting 10/19/2026 with a contract length of 12 weeks.
  • Required Qualifications: Active Maryland or Compact State RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI certifications, and at least 2 years of ER experience.
  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum 36 hours weekly.
  • Patient Ratios: 4 patients per nurse during days, 4 during nights, and 4 on weekends; float within the ER and hold/observational units as needed.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Staff a 10-bed observation unit within the ER, handle high-acuity patients, and perform procedures including arterial line management, IV sedation, intubation, and trauma care.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, and PALS required.
  • Additional information: Experience with Epic EMR preferred, ability to float within the ER scope, and flexibility to work weekends and scheduled holidays.
