Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing acute patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment on night shifts, with orientation dates scheduled and clinical responsibilities detailed. The position requires flexibility to meet the scheduling needs of the unit.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid TN license or compact license on file at the time of submission, two or more years of ER experience, prior travel experience preferred. Certification requirements include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 09/28, 10/05, 10/12, and 10/19. The unit is an 8-bed ER setting with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5. Hospital scrubs are navy blue. The department makes its own schedule. Clearance of a TN license or compact at time of submission. No time off approved from 09/19 to 10/17 due to Epic Go Live.
