Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and an active MI RN license.

Details

• Emergency Department setting providing around-the-clock emergent care for minor to severe injuries and illnesses
• 10-bed unit with a newborn-to-geriatric patient population
• 4:1 patient ratio
• Uses Paragon EMR
• Evening shift, 12 hours, 3:00 PM-3:00 AM
• Weekend work required
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission
• Compact license not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS (ENPC accepted in place of PALS), TNCC, ENPC, and BLS (AHA)

Additional Information

• Coordinates total nursing care for patients and participates in patient and family teaching
• Works cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team members to maintain professional nursing practice standards
• Blue scrubs required
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested
• Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius are considered local travelers and subject to a reduced rate
