Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse in the healthcare setting. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with established practice standards. The ER RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, provides health education, and ensures therapy and treatment support patient well-being.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; BLS (American Heart Association); ACLS (American Heart Association); PALS (American Heart Association); TNCC; ENPC (may accept without for clearance, but required for other duties); minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing
- Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need. May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily and meet required skills including health data assessment, nursing care, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, clinical documentation, medical function execution, patient referral, treatment plan monitoring, and resource utilization.
