Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nurse in Los Angeles. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a busy emergency department. The position requires supervising nursing staff, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring a safe, compassionate environment for patients and their families.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) & Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor & Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from an approved vendor & Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice & Facility-specific BLS certification & Facility-specific ACLS certification & 1 year of relevant experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an acute care facility & Epic electronic medical record system experience
- Additional Information: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation. Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patients situation. Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment team. Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
