Job Details
- Position: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse, Kings County
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; one year of experience required in an acute care facility.
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the practice state required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required; AHA-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and AHA-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
- Essential Functions: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation, analyzes assessment data, develops and implements care plans, coordinates care delivery, evaluates patient progress, collaborates with healthcare team, provides patient and family education, participates in discharge planning, delegates duties appropriately, and performs other related duties as assigned.
- Additional Information: The position requires EPIC electronic health record experience.
