Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Houston, TX This role involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy ER setting. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care, performing procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, and EKGs, and ensuring compliance with unit policies. The shift is overnight, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details

• Position Description: Emergency Department Nurse responsible for direct patient care, including urgent and emergent cases, utilizing electronic medical records and following unit protocols.
• Required Qualifications: Active TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications; Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher; valid licensure to practice in the state; at least 1 year of ER experience; location in Houston, TX; minimum 0 years of experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates without ER experience will not be considered. The role includes working four weekend shifts per month with no on-call requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Active and personable personality, experience with trauma procedures, and familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records.
