Job Details

  • Position Description: ER RN with a 12-hour night shift schedule, working 36 hours per week. The unit handles diverse patient needs across all ages with an emphasis on acute care delivery.
  • Required Qualifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; valid RN license; minimum of 2 years of ER experience.
  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, with every third weekend requirement. Self-scheduling available; shifts include 7p-7a nights, with a rotating schedule.
  • Additional Information: The role involves working in a 27-bed unit with common diagnoses including all age groups. The department maintains a 2-level trauma designation and uses EPIC for charting. RTO Requests must be made upfront; additional RTO will not be approved after submission. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week contract.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit a valid license and drivers license, and pass a pass/fail exam during orientation, achieving at least 90%. Artificial nails are prohibited.
