- Position Description: This role includes assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. The ER Nurse reviews patient history, physical assessments, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and caregivers. Responsibilities also include formulating and revising care plans, providing direct patient care, delegating duties, and evaluating patient responses to treatment. The position emphasizes documentation, evidence-based practice, collaborative care, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and experience in an acute care hospital or emergency setting within the past 12 months.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
