This role involves providing specialized care to all emergency department patient types, including adults and pediatrics, with a focus on critical and urgent care. The position begins on September 28, 2026, and runs for 13 weeks, with night shifts scheduled.
Job Details
- Location: Emergency Department in an acute care facility.
- Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours each, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Licensed registered nurse (RN) with a valid state license; BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications; minimum of 2 years of ER experience; candidate must have a valid drivers license and be able to work night shifts.
- Additional Requirements: Pass/fail exam during orientation with a 90% passing score; artificial fingernails prohibited; must comply with the radius rule of 50 miles; reference checks and compliance with facility policies required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with MEDITECH charting system; experience in trauma level care.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must possess and submit a valid license to practice as an RN, along with current certifications.
