Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) & float to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Waupaca, Wisconsin. This position involves working 12-hour night shifts at a healthcare facility in Waupaca, WI. The role requires handling various patient loads across ER and ICU units, offering a dynamic clinical environment for experienced nursing professionals.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, guaranteed 36 hours per week, with every other weekend rotation and holiday rotation.
- Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); associate degree or certificate; at least 3 years of RN experience, with a minimum of 2 years in emergency room settings; strong communication skills; recent Epic charting experience within the last year.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing is strongly preferred.
- Shift Requirements: 12-hour night shifts.
- Additional Information: Travel is not permitted from facilities or homes within 50 miles of the healthcare provider's corporate center in Neenah, WI. The contract duration is 13 weeks, with an immediate start date. Candidates must have completed at least one previous contract in this role. The unit comprises 8 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4. No new travelers will be considered without prior contract experience in this setting.
