Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse - Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing critical emergency care in a busy ER setting, including assessing patients, administering IV medications, and supporting patient education efforts. The RN will work nights and may be required to perform charge nurse and preceptor roles as needed.
Job Details
- Position Description: The registered nurse is an essential member of the patient care team responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the unit. The ER offers a full spectrum of emergency care and a separate Chest Pain Center.
- Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications; at least 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department setting; at least 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience; must be willing and able to work charge nurse and preceptor roles if needed; Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week.

- Additional Information: Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid. The organization reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract. Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.
