Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse (ER) Springfield, MO. This position involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy trauma center. The role requires working day shifts, offering an opportunity to contribute to critical patient outcomes in a Level 1 trauma, stroke, STEMI, and burn center setting.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri). Certifications required include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from American Heart Association, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) (prior to start).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level 1 trauma center or at least 2 years in a Level 2 trauma facility. Trauma and high-acuity experience preferred, with familiarity in pediatric care and managing over 200 patients daily.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care activities, coordinating efforts with ancillary departments, and functioning within established nursing scope and standards to optimize patient outcomes.
