Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights Located in the healthcare organizations emergency department, this role involves providing specialized nursing care during night shifts to patients of all ages experiencing various trauma and medical emergencies. The ER RN must quickly assess and prioritize patient needs, ensuring effective treatment in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Location: Emergency Department
- Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ASN degree, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS-AHA, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications, 18 months of recent emergency department experience, including within the past six months, with demonstrated clinical proficiency and excellent communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree (preferred but not required).
- Responsibilities include delivering professional nursing services, performing accurate patient assessments, formulating effective care plans, and communicating effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff.
- Certifications and licensure must be current and applicable for the role.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Work includes holiday and weekend requirements, with every other weekend, and specific holiday shifts as outlined.
