Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, two years of experience as a registered nurse with at least one year in an emergency room setting, experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center. Certifications required before start date include ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC (within 90 days). Candidates must demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to coach and give feedback in real time.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a high-volume emergency department, familiarity with HCA systems preferred.
- Additional Information: The role involves working in a dynamic emergency department with a patient ratio typically of 4:1, up to 7:1 during behavioral holds. Equipment used includes Baxter pumps and GE monitors. The team emphasizes respectful behavior, patient experience, and adherence to hospital and unit policies, including dress code of navy scrubs. The department is recognized for its teamwork, multicultural environment, and innovative equipment.
