Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Gainesville, Florida. This position involves providing acute care in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center setting within an academic medical environment. The role requires flexibility, with potential to float between multiple ED locations, including standalone emergency departments and trauma centers. The assignment duration is 13 weeks, and the schedule includes 12-hour night shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 07:00 p.m. 07:30 a.m., 36 hours per week, variable days of the week. Holidays and weekends required.
  • Required Qualifications: 2-3 years as RN with prior travel experience; BLS, PALS (or ENPC), ACLS certifications; FL or compact license included in candidates file at time of submission; ED experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center preferred. Must be a strong traveler.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Unplanned time off (UTO) will result in contract cancellation if shifts are not made up; no block scheduling is offered; candidates must pass a basic specialty and EKG interpretation test before start; influenza vaccination is mandatory with proof of compliance; allergy to eggs is not a valid exemption.
