  • Position Description: Emergency Room nurse responsible for managing a broad spectrum of urgent medical cases, including trauma, behavioral health issues, sepsis, cardiac emergencies, and pediatric emergencies, among others. The role requires working in a teaching facility that supports interdisciplinary teams and advanced trauma protocols.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC; valid California licensure.
  • Education Requirements: BSN required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 0 years of ER nursing experience.
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Shift coverage includes four weekend shifts within a 4-week schedule.
  • Additional Qualifications: Must have EPIC EMR experience, be comfortable with pediatric patients, and have a current California license. RTO restrictions apply; candidates must have RTO on initial submission.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Trauma, adult/pediatric Emergency Department (ED), Pediatric (PEDS) experience, and TNCC certification are strongly preferred. Teaching facility experience is advantageous.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should have prior travel experience, with no first-time travelers accepted. Scrubs provided, and candidates should be prepared for their clinical orientation.
