Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Travel | Not Provided

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in an urban, Level I Trauma Emergency Department for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of experience in similar healthcare settings and be comfortable working in a teaching hospital environment.

Assignment Details

  • Start Date: Not Provided
  • Shift Details: 3x12 Nights
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Floating Requirement: Yes
  • Charting System: Epic
  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2116.8 (negotiable)
  • Local Candidate Policy: Accepted

Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to emergency situations
  • Administer emergency medications and treatments
  • Interpret dysrhythmias and manage dysrhythmias
  • Conduct triage assessments
  • Perform phlebotomy and manage IVs
  • Provide care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1 year of emergency department experience in an urban, Level I Trauma setting
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
  • Skills: Abdominal pain management, acute psychosis, asthma, emergency medications, and more

Preferred:

  • Experience in a teaching hospital
  • Community hospital experience
  • Certifications: TNCC, CPI
