Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nursing position available in a critical access facility located in an acute care setting. The role involves providing high-quality emergency care across a diverse patient population, utilizing advanced clinical skills, and collaborating with interdisciplinary support teams. The assignment offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to demonstrate excellent patient care and clinical expertise.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of ER nursing experience, certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course; NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program preferred).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Agile charting systems (Epic), community hospital experience, familiarity with emergency procedures and trauma protocols.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to cover multiple units within the organization.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to work a schedule that includes working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). Pre-employment references covering the last year and two references are required. Previous experience with emergency and trauma care, including managing ventilated patients and airway management, is preferred.
