Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Night shift local candidates accepted. This position involves providing professional nursing care to a diverse patient population in a high-volume emergency department. The role includes conducting assessments, assisting with exams and treatments, patient education, and maintaining accurate medical records. The RN will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver efficient, compassionate, and high-quality care, while demonstrating clinical competence and leadership in a dynamic environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 645 p.m. to 715 a.m., minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Texas or Compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association; minimum 2.5 years of recent, relevant experience in emergency departments; Epic electronic medical record experience preferred; experience in high-volume ERs required
• Preferred Qualifications: EPIC experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The role involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, assisting with procedures, administering medications, managing emergencies, and acting as a patient and family advocate. Leadership roles such as charge nurse or preceptor may be part of responsibilities, along with participation in unit and shared governance initiatives.
